Announcing the 2011 Daltile Interior Design Scholarship Competition

Do have your sights set on becoming an accomplished Interior Designer? As with any career choice, getting your foot in the door is sometimes all it takes to put you on the path of your dreams … and thanks to the up and coming Daltile Interior Design Scholarship Competition, the door is about to open a little wider.

Presented by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Foundation, this creative competition being held between August 1, 2011 and December 1, 2011 allows students wanting to enter the world of Interior Design a chance to partake in an event in which they can demonstrate their talents, skills and ingenuity. The grand prize winner not only receives a a $10,000 scholarship, but they will also be guest at the Daltile exhibit at SURFACES 2012, January 24-26 in Las Vegas – where their winning design will also be displayed.

In addition to the grand prize winner, a $5000 scholarship will also be awarded to the first, second and third prize winners, and $2500 in scholarships will go to ten Merit Winners.

When entering you have the choice at designing any residential space, be it a kitchen, bath, bedroom, living room. Spaces may include indoor our outdoor as well as commercial.
