8th Annual BOD Conference “Designing Happiness” Announced
Do you have plans August 31 through September 2, 2011? If so, you may just want to consider rescheduling so you can attend “Designing Happiness” – the theme of the 8th Annual BOD Conference (Business of Design Conference) – to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Roosevelt Hotel in New York, New York.
Included in this three day, “adrenaline-pumping” event are leaders and experts from various professions that are serving up inspiration, the latest trends and an abundance of inspiring knowledge, such as; principles of psychology, technology and overall business guidance for daily operations. The third day of the event has been reserved to offer value added exhibits that showcase technology and service providers in the design field.
Acting as emcee for the conference will be Bod Conference founder, CEO of Designing Profits, and manager of the Best Practices Network; David Shepherd. With his McComb’s School of Business credentials obtained from the University of Texas, David has directly influenced over 3,000 Interior Designers through his “8 Steps” Workshop, as well as past conferences. David is also credited with creating “The Business School” – an online source for Interior Designer’s continuing business education.
Part of the reason that Design professionals flock to attend a BOD Conference over and over again is due to the precision in which the guest speakers are chosen. Along with David Shepard, Interior Designers can expect to hear from top business experts that bring a wreath of information, experience, and advice that is customized specifically for the benefit of the Design Industry. More importantly, perhaps, is that the information does not get lost in transit when the event is over, but rather utilized constructively in the hands of the designer the moment they return home – making the BOD Conference a truly “must attend” event.
