Jack LaBarck’s Interior Passion

Who knew a paper route could have such great influence on a young adult’s life? It was that small taste of responsibility and freedom in which Interior Designer Jack LaBarck caught a glimpse of the direction his future would take, although he probably didn’t foresee the immense impact he’d have in the Designing Industry.

Jack always knew he was drawn to the artistic side of life. His passion for Interior Design started to evolve when he realized he was quite adept at “pulling colors together, and creating something out of nothing”. Combining that raw talent with the labor intense construction skills he learned while working beside family members during the summers – Jack began his career designing and “flipping” houses. It wasn’t until he met the love of his life and moved to Thailand that his true passion for design surfaced to the top and took hold in a very dramatic fashion in the landscape of Southeast Asia.

Upon moving to Thailand, Jack immediately noticed the ‘lack of professionalism, skill and customer service’ in the design industry. His frustration at personally witnessing the poor craftsmanship for a properly built structure led him to network with other designers, architects and builders – in which he formed his business aptly called “Interior Passion”.

Jack LaBarck’s ever evolving talents have led him to join forces with Crystal Design Center. According to the CDC website it’s “one of the most comprehensive and integrated Design Centers in Asia showcasing architectural, interior, decorating and construction products. CDC facilities include Product Showrooms, Architecture & Decorative Resource Center, Exhibition & Conferences Facilities, Business Lounge, Design Library, Office Spaces, and Meeting Facilities housing in several distinctive designed buildings integrated within posh landscape design district.”

Jack has certainly come a long way since his paper throwing days, and with his list of achievements related to the design industry growing every day, Jack LaBarck’s influence continues to change the landscape of design in Thailand and beyond.
