Named “Master of the Southwest 2005″ by Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine, Mark’s 22 year career began in a residential branch of the Phoenix based firm, CCBC Architects. It was during that period of his career that he decided it was time to branch out. Mark specifically wanted to direct his skills for designing towards working independently with residential clients – and thus, in 1999, Candelaria Design was born.

According to Mark, “… the client/architect relationship should be a positive experience, resulting from working so closely on a design.” Such sentiments has given Mark the ability to not only serve his clients to his utmost, but it has allowed him to establish long last friendships that have stemmed from the original working relationship – which only indicates that Mark’s personality is a treasure on and off the drawing board.
