With two gourmet chefs in the family and a passion for entertaining, this kitchen and breakfast area required a major facelift. The kitchen was tripled in size to accommodate large gatherings of family & friends. The materials, fixtures, and design details were selected to replicate the English Country feel of the existing home. Skylights add natural light into the space and the cathedral ceiling creates a more open feeling. Adjustable height pendants hang over the island and sink to accommodate the height differences of the couple. Multiple finishes and design details were used to create a vintage, one-of-a-kind space.

Beach Condo Interior Design by Michael Steiner

The client requested an upscale but comfortable beach home for an active family and for entertaining friends. The design resulted in a Coastal Interior Design scheme with the colors being pulled from the natural surroundings, pale blue-greens of the water and sky, accents of warm yellows from the sun and sea grasses all set against a sand colored background. With young kids and sandy beach goers, all furnishings and decorative materials were selected with durability, clean-ability and comfort in mind. A large TV above the fireplace was requested for rainy days & movie nights.
