Shane Inman: Redefining Interior Design

Michigan Interior Designer Shane Inman of The Inman Company revives the life out of contemporary and modern designing through his ability to incorporate abstract and bold pieces into sleek environments. Earning his B.A. in interior design from Michigan State University, Shane Inman launched his career in residential and commercial interior design in the San Francisco area. Choosing to focus on kitchens and bathrooms at the time – he later turned his attention to luxury private residences by branching out to become the Director of Design, On-site Designer, Project Manager and Senior Interior Designer for a Fortune 500 company on the East Coast.

Shane Inman has brought new definition to the term “interior designer” with his expanding knowledge and expertise in multiple aspects of design. The Inman Company has used it’s exporting skills, it’s interior design knowledge and proficiency in architecture design, to influence many residential and commercial projects all over the world, including; the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico.

Shane has been involved in many pro-bono projects and is committed to “giving back” by sponsoring projects such as the “Ugly Kitchen” contest that resulted in one lucky winner receiving a $35,000.00 kitchen make-over.

Shane has also been known to give freely of his time and talents by acting as an event designer for several non-profit organizations in his area, as well as traveling abroad to Africa at the request of the U.S. Peace Corps to act as a goodwill ambassador of the United States – where he provided automated computer aided design, as well as English as a Foreign Language.
