HGTV Showhouse Showdown Interior Designer: Christine Ubbink

Certified Interior Designer Christine Ubbink recently brought her A game to HGTV’s highly competitive and successful design show; Showhouse Showdown – where she put her talents, expertise and passion to work by transforming an ordinary home into a functional piece of art that would leave any home owner breathless with their dreams of a perfect home fulfilled.

Fulfilling dreams in nothing new to Christine.

As California State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Christine began her seasoned career working alongside a prominent, local residential developer and builder, where she gained valuable experience and insight into the world of designing custom homes and expanding her knowledge of the residential building trade.

With such highly sought after skills and an amazing eye for detail, it was only a matter of time before a commercial architectural firm came knocking on her door. Christine’s portfolio then grew to include designing for a community theater, corporate buildings, a youth center and many elementary schools. Shortly after, her career was again enhanced by accepting a position with Facility Designs (a certified Herman Miller dealership).

Christine’s surefooted approach to Interior Design is based upon not only the skill set she has acquired through traditional hard work and creative insight, but also her ability to “interpret” the designing process. “Cringing at the thought of being confined by rules” – is what prompts Christine to design in a manner which suits each and every client distinctly and independently. Thus; those fortunate enough to work with her reap all the benefits of a Professional Interior Designer – but are still able to be true to their hearts, their dreams, and their desires of a comfortable, enjoyable and functional living space that is the ultimate definition of “coming home”.
