About Kimberly Perron
Kimberly Perron is the lead decorator and owner of Decorating Den Interiors located in Stuart, Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Art History, Kimberly worked for several years in the utility and construction industry. She held positions as both a design engineer and as a field project manager. However, her true love was always Interior Decorating. She worked as an amateur designer decorating for friends and family. More and more people were asking for her services and she finally made the decision to open her own studio and pursue her passion full time. Kimberly received a diploma in Interior Decorating from Ashworth College and is a Certified Color Consultant.
Most recently Kimberly was honored with two design awards for her work. She placed 3rd in the North American Dream Room contest in the category for Outdoor Rooms as judged by the editors of such prestigious magazines as Elle Dcor, House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens and Traditional Homes. She also won 3rd place in the Designers Choice Award for an exciting dining room makeover as voted on by her decorating peers at the 42nd Annual Lifestyle Conference held in Phoenix Arizona. Locally, Kimberly designed a gorgeous guest bedroom for the American Red Cross Designer Showcase Home.
Kimberly strives to bring her clients personalities alive in her designs and places their needs and interests above all else. She especially loves bringing in all the wonderful natural elements in Florida into her designs. Besides serving her clients, she is also active in the Womens Club of Stuart, a volunteer with the ARC of Martin County and Friends of the Blake Library Board, and serves as Development Director for the Dolphin Research Centers Board of Directors in the Florida Keys. Her services include design plans for residential and light commercial spaces, color and space planning, installation and delivery of dcor items, consulting, and decorating workshops for community groups. Decorating Den offers a large line of custom home furnishings including window treatments, upholstered furniture and case goods, wall and floor coverings, lighting and ceiling fans, bedding, artwork and accessories.
