About Connie Ray

CRN Interiors was established in November 1994. I have been helping over 1000 clients with their home or office design for 18 years. I have recently changed the name of my business to RAY Interiors and I offer services in Interior Design, Organization, Staging and Interior Redesign.
At a young age I discovered I had a natural talent for esthetics and design.

My formal education in these areas began early, and while still in high school I completed an interior design home study program. I attended Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH for Art and later transferred to William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, IL to enroll in their accelerated Interior Design Program. Through courses in Basic and Advanced Design, History of Art and Furniture History I developed the technical skills necessary to create beautiful and functional living spaces. In June of 1980 I received my Associate degree in Applied Science in Interior Design.

Being a good interior designer requires more than natural talent and technical skills, however. A good designer must also be able to determine the needs of her clients, to deliver products specific to their personal tastes, and to do so in a cost effective manner. The most valuable skill set I have acquired through my various design experiences has been the ability to combine quality design with good time management.

I have also gained knowledge and experience working in the business world for fourteen years in Customer Service, Administration, Office Management and Project Management which has further developed my technical and management skills.
