About Jennifer Guggenheim
Trained at the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts and Parsons School of Design in New York City, Jenny's strong foundation in design principles have lead her to numerous successful projects, including those in retail, residential, educational, and commercial typologies.
Before establishing Fig Studio, Jenny worked with GBD Architects, Inc. where she honed her commerical design skills and gained extensive knowledge related to sustainable building practices and strategies. Her LEED AP credentials and experience working on LEED Certified projects allow her to easily guide her clients toward environmentally responsible design choices.
Jenny's extensive travels throughout North America and Europe intrinsically inform her design decisions, while remaining relavant to the Northwest climate and her client's lifestyle. Her choices are not dictated by trends, but rather by careful client profiling and her distinct editing skills. Jenny's role as a guide and advocate leads her projects to a successful and beautiful result.
When shes not in the studio, you can find Jenny testing another menu item at Screen Door or inventing new kitchen recipes with her husband. Shes currently dreaming of owning a sleek Dutch city bike to ride to her office in NW Portland.
