About Michael Steiner, ASID, LEED Green Associate
Michael is a graduate of East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental/interior design and a minor in graphic design. Prior to establishing Steiner Design Interiors, Michael worked for several prominent designers in the NC area and New York City. He has also expanded his talents by freelancing as a photo stylist, with his work being published in numerous national design magazines, and as a set designer for several television series and movies.
Michael is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and is an active member of the Carolinas Chapter of ASID. In 2009 Michael became a certified LEED Green Associate.
Pastimes include traveling to continue the education process by experiencing both old and new places for design inspiration and the eternal quest for unique treasures to be found at flea markets, auctions, and antique shops.
