About Tracy Garfield

Tracy was intrigued by interiors very early in life. Growing up in the HGTV era, she loved home makeover shows and would often be found organizing rooms with her twin sister. Even at an early age, she felt the sense of joy that came from having everything in just the right place. With a growing interest in design, she even managed to win her elementary school's speech contest, declaring, "When I grow up, I want to be an interior designer!"

Tracy followed this passion further by attending Michigan State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design. After graduation, she faced a challenging Michigan job market, but decided to stay in-state to continue her dream of designing and build something of her own. She founded Tracy Garfield Interiors that same summer and has since gone on to participate in the Northville Designer Showcase and is the winner of 2 Detroit Home Design Awards.

Tracy now runs her business from her home in Northville. She lives for good design, authentic food, Spartan basketball and spending time with family in northern Michigan :)
